Sonakshi Sinha might be gearing up for her first action film with Akira but she is also signed to play protagonist in Apoorva Lakhias Haseena, a film about Dawood Ibrahims sister. The film is expected to go on the floors in February, BizAsia has learnt.

Box Office India report a source stating, “Apoorva wants to shoot the film in real locations as he wants to capture reality. Besides, recreating old Bombay would mean a colossal budget and shooting at real locations will save money. The film will be shot on a tight budget and will be completed in a 60-day schedule.”

The film will be shot in real locations and a recce has been completed. Sinha is currently shooting for Force 2.
